Hello our lovely Lindy Hoppers!


There are a couple wonderful things for you in this newsletter!



*Quattropole*:


Just in case you were on another planet and missed it, this last weekend
was the last Quattropole weekend, which was an amazingly successful first
Lindy Exchange for our region.  A HUGE thank you to everyone that was
involved in the organisation, to all of the amazing live bands, and to all
of the wonderful dancers from near and far!  The event had such an amazing
energy, that will be amazing to keep going into the future years.



*Social Dancing*:


1) As usual, there will be social dancing in *La Marionnette* (formerly *Le
Coral*) next *Thursday, June 9th*.  There will be a taster from 20:00 to
20:30, and then dancing from 20:30 to 23:00.


2) On *Monday, June 13th*, there will be social dancing at *Scott’s*.
There will be Balboa practice from 20:00 to 20:45, and then we swing from
20:45 to 23:00.



*Surprise Swing & Bubbles afterwork event on Thursday, June 2nd*:


*Are you needing your Lindy fix since this last weekend?!  Not too dead
after the amazing Quattropole weekends???  Then we have an event for you!*


We’ve been asked to come and create some surprise ambiance at the *Swing &
Bubbles Afterwork electro-swing party* (
https://www.facebook.com/events/484531471749649/) that will be at *Café des
Capucins on Thursday, June 2nd*.  The event starts at 18:00, but *we’ve
arranged to have some of our swing music to be played at 20:30, then at
22:00 and lastly at 22:30* so that we can get the crowd moving with some
Lindy Hop.  We’ll be a bit of a surprise feature, so let’s keep this info
amongst Lindy Hoppers, but bring as many of them as possible!!!  If you
can, come dressed to impress, and ready to swing!
