Hello Hoppers! 

Social Dancing: 

1. On Monday May 16th, tomorrow, we dance again at SCOTT'S in Grund. We
will have open BALBOA PRACTICE FROM 20 TO 20.45 for people who know
balboa basics and want to keep practising and dancing. If you do not
know balboa but are you curious, you can of course welcome to come
listen to music, watch and maybe try a few steps but this is not a
taster class and there will be no teaching. 

2. Soon we will start our OUTDOOR SOCIAL DANCING SEASON. The Bonnevoie
pavillon or Philharmonie is calling :) The date and place will be
decided depending on the weather conditions, so an announcement will be
made a few days in advance (or even the same day!) via Facebook, so keep
an eye on the events in the Facebook group. 

Volunteers: 

3. Our association is run by volunteers and if you would like to
contribute in any way, feel free talk to us during classes, social
dancing or send us a message to info at swingdance.lu. Any amount of time
or energy invested is welcome! 

Exchange: 

4. You probably already know that we are participating in the first
Quattropole Swing Exchange and we hope you will too!! The exchange will
take place in TRIER AND LUXEMBOURG ON MAY 20-22, THEN METZ AND
SAARBRUCKEN WILL HOST ON MAY 27-29. You can contribute simply by coming
to one of the events, or helping as a volunteer or hosting a foreign

5. The TRIER-LUXEMBOURG exchange weekend is arriving soon! Next weekend
already!!! 

The fun BEGINS IN TRIER ON FRIDAY, MAY 20TH starting AT 20.00 with a
taster, then followed by the PARTY WITH LIVE MUSIC UNTIL 2.00. ON
SATURDAY, MAY 21ST, we start the day in TRIER AT 11.00 WITH A LINDY
HOPPER BRUNCH (5EUR per person) until 13.00. Next is the QUATTROPOLE
CHOREOGRAPHY FROM 13.30 TO 14.30, followed immediately by AN INTERACTIVE
CITY TOUR UNTIL 16.00. 

Things then move on to LUXEMBOURG ON SATURDAY, MAY 21ST, with the
DANCING STARTING AT 20.00 with a taster. The PARTY WITH LIVE MUSIC then
continues UNTIL 2.00. The party continues on SUNDAY, MAY 22ND WITH
BRUNCH AT SCOTT’S IN GRUND (included with any pass) FROM 11.30 TO 14.00.
During this time we will practice the Quattropole Choreography.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER BRUNCH, THERE IS AN ORGANISED CITY TOUR OF LUXEMBOURG
AT 14.30. We then end the weekend with a "GOOD BYE” PARTY FROM 18.00
UNTIL 21.00.
