We are glad to share the Swing news of this week :


   - *Social dance at Dipso !*


*This Monday October 3rd, *we 're trying another playground : meet us for
the first time *in Dipso*, 4 rue de la Loge in Luxembourg.
Doors open at 7pm for those who want to come earlier for a first drink. Lindy
hop taster will take place from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm as per usual, right
before the social dancing part.

*Halloween fans ? *


We look for Halloween fans! This year Halloween falls on a Monday and
Altrimenti is already booked for a social night. We reach out to you as we
need a team of motivated dancers to prepare a Halloween environment to make
it a special night. If you’re up for it, drop us a line at the usual email
address : info at swingdance.lu


   - *New Lindy Hop for absolute beginners : sold out !*


Thank you to all our participants for your enthusiasm and registrations !! The
class is full already and registrations closed. Should you also want to
start dancing with us, drop us a line and we will revert back to you in
case we have a cancellation. Otherwise, stay tuned for the Spring 2023
semester. We will surely offer new beginner courses.

*Book club : *


We invite you all and encourage you to join our book club. We’ve only now
had our first session, where we discussed the intro and the first chapter
of « Moving to higher ground » by Wynton Marsalis. We had a very open and
rich discussion about jazz music, jazz dancing, jazz culture; about how
they are intertwined with history and can offer lessons for our everyday
life. It’s still time to join us! Don’t be afraid: we’re here to learn and
exchange. Viktor has a lot of background information to give and to help us
understand, reflect and learn about jazz culture. Come with your thoughts
and questions and don’t be afraid of not being an expert here :) Come when
you have time, even if it’s not every week. Drop us a line (
info at swingdance.lu) to be informed about when and where we meet and which
chapter we read

Last but not least, our guest teacher Viktor is available for private
classes. If you’re interested, please reach out to him before/after class
