Dear dancers,

Here is the swing news for this week:


   - *Monday, October 11th: Social dance at Altrimenti*

As usual we will have our weekly social dance on Monday
<https://www.facebook.com/events/1196093484234727> evening at Altrimenti.
Doors open at 19h30 and there will be a beginner taster on the famous *Shim
Sham* solo jazz routine from 19h45 to 20h15. All levels of dancers are
welcome and entrance is free but please remember that this is a CovidCheck
event and that you need to bring a valid CovidCheck certificate.


   - *Weekly courses*

We are glad to release information on the second block of the fall courses
<https://www.swingdance.lu/fall-2021-courses/> from November to December
2021!

The majority of the classes will be a continuation of the first block and
current participants that register for block 2 will have priority to
continue the semester. However some spots might open up and new beginner
classes for Lindy Hop and Couple Blues have been added!

Registration will open this Friday October 15th at 20h on our website.
* If you register as a single follower for a couple class, please be sure
to register right away after opening so we have the best chance to find you
a spot!


   - *SwingLuxDay November 6th - Late Halloween fundraiser event with
   Gramophoniacs live *

We welcome you to our very first 'Late Halloween' event
<https://www.facebook.com/events/599814241256403> dedicated to raising
funds for Altrimenti. Cultural centers such as Altrimenti still have a hard
time to function due to restrictions, so all help is welcome. We will have
dance workshops during the day and a swing party in the evening with the
Gramophoniacs! The event will be held according to CovidCheck rules. Save
November 6th for some spooky dance moves!
