Dear dancers,

There are no more social dancing or courses planned in 2021, but as
Christmas is approaching, it’s also time to look forward to the New Year
and we wanted to already give you a heads-up on our planned activities in
2022:


   - SwingLuxDay January 9th 2022 - the Switch edition + Tea dance

We welcome you to our first SwingLuxDay workshop of 2022

where
we will focus on switching the roles of leader and follower in couple
dancing! Thinking outside of our traditional dancing roles really allows us
to open up new possibilities to enjoy Lindy Hop and understand both roles
in practice. After the courses, we close the day with a cozy tea dance!

   - Duke's Blues - 11 to 13 February  2022

We are glad to announce our upcoming weekend workshop in February

dancing with couple and solo tracks, special topic classes, live music,
parties and many extras! Get ready to meet our talented teacher line-up of
Jill De Muelenaere and Alexandre McCormack for couple blues dancing and Els
Houttequiet for solo blues tracks. Furthermore, we’ve got you covered with
the finest blues tunes by Tiny Legs Tim and his band!

Tuesday January 4th at 8 PM.



   - *Spring 2022 Courses - February to May 2022 *

We are glad to announce the schedule for the Spring 2022 courses from
February to May 2022. For the current students, we have added
recommendations for the continuation of your class in the course
descriptions.There will also be new absolute beginner classes for Lindy Hop
and Solo Jazz, including Couple Blues and Tap dancing!

opening on Thursday January 6th at 8 PM. As always, if you are
registering without a partner for a couple class, be sure to register
directly after the opening time so that we have the best chance to get you
a spot!


As we look back on the past year, we are happy to see that despite the
difficult times and ever changing legal rules, we could hold a festival,
classes and many social dances. This would not have been possible without
you, our dear dancers, teachers, students and volunteers! We’re very
grateful for you and want to thank you. Thank you for having continued or
just started your dance journey with us! Thank you for taking classes and
thereby supporting Swing Dance Luxembourg but also Altrimenti. Thank you
for spreading the joy of the Lindy Hop at our parties. We hope to see you
all in 2022!
