-       Tonight, Monday 17th Dec Nov *SOCIAL DANCING* – Come dance with us
tonight at *Brasserie Wenzel* in Grund (28, rue Münster). Invite your
friends for a short taster class at 19:30. Everyone swings starting at

-       Thursday 20th Dec *SWING FLOOR – *Practice makes perfect. This is
not a social dance night; we give you the setting, you put in the work.

from 21:15 until 23:00.

v  *Keep it swinging - Workshop on Swing music by Lennart and Frida*

*Registrations open TONIGHT AT 20:00 CET *



We are pleased to announce that Lennart is coming back to Luxembourg in
January, this time in the company of Frida Häggström Gerdt! This will not
be a traditional dancing workshop, but a weekend focused on lectures and
discussions about swing music. Lennart has been listening to swing music
for 40 years now. Frida has spent a lot of time studying the music, and
currently she is responsible of booking the bands at the famous Herräng
Dance Camp in Sweden.

Jazz Music history, Basic Music Theory, What is Swing Music, How to choose
Music for dancing, How a swing dancer should listen to Jazz, How do you
recognize good swing music and what keeps dancers on the dance floor?
This workshop will be open to everyone. However it is especially addressed
to Teachers, DJs and Swing musicians. Of course, you can highly benefit as
a dancer, as well, by knowing more about swing music itself!
