Hello Hoppers!!

*Social Dancing:*
We are hopefully going to dance outside again tomorrow (Thursday 28
August). If it's not raining meet us at 19:00 behind the Philharmonie to
try to squeeze every last bit out of the summer we have left! :) If it is
raining, then we'll try to reschedule so check our website, facebook, and
your email!

*Classes:*
Registration for our classes is still going on so be sure to check it out!!
We are changing things up a bit and this semester will be 15 classes long
from the 23/24 September to 20/21 January, then we will have a 2nd semester
in the spring. We are also excited about our newest volunteer teachers,
Martina and Roumany who will be teaching Lindy Hop 2! Returning for another
semester will be Sjouke and Ingrida, teaching Lindy Hop 1, and Ieva,
teaching authentic jazz (solo). Our thanks goes out to the five of you for
donating your time so that we can all become such great dancers!  :)

*Levels*
There are now only 2 levels of Lindy Hop that we have refocused. Lindy Hop
1 is not only for absolute beginners now, but also those who have finished
one semester of  Lindy Hop 1. This class is all about the foundations of
Lindy Hop so perfect for anyone who wants to refine their technique and get
more comfortable on the dance floor :)  Lindy Hop 2 is focused on
musicality and
will introduce more complex movements. Students in this level will be most
comfortable if they have been dancing for about 6 months, and have attended
either Lindy Hop 1 at least twice, or Lindy Hop 2 or 3. Finally Ieva's
authentic Jazz class is also back and perfect for anyone with some previous
Lindy Hop, or solo dancing, experience!

*Date and Time*
Tuesdays 19.15-20.15 Authentic Jazz
Wednesdays 19.15-20.15 Lindy Hop 1, 20.30-21.31 Lindy Hop 2

Where
Ellipse Sports Centre in Kirchberg Luxembourg
(Indoor shoes are required for the sake of keeping their beautiful wood
floor nice for us, and others, to dance on:)

*Price*
90 euros for the semester
45 euros for any second course in the same period
5 euro discount:
- if you register as a couple
- if you have attended our beginner workshop in July

*Partners or no partners?*
One doesn't need a partner to register, but if you know someone then please
bring them! :) When we don't have balanced leads and follows we have to run
waiting lists to ensure the classes are fun for everyone. Remember though,
one of the great things about Lindy Hop is that your gender does not decide
your role in the dancing partnership. We have a number of great female
leads in our club and some guys who are decent follows :) So decide for
yourself which you want to do. But also don't forget to bring your friends!
