Hello!

Happy time change everyone! I hope you are enjoying your extra hour :)

Social dancing:
1. There will be social dancing tomorrow (Monday, Oct. 28) at Scott's 
pub
in the Grund, with a beginners taster at 20:00. And of course dancing
will start at 20:30 :) By the way, please refrain from bringing in your 
own
drinks to our social dancing evenings hosted in bars. They kindly let us
use the space for free, assuming that we will buy our drinks from them, 
so
if we bring in our own water etc. we risk losing the venue, which would 
be
sad :( Thanks for understanding, and we look forward to dancing with all 
of
you on Monday night!

Courses:
1. Remember, normal classes are suspended this week for the holiday 
(Oct.
28 - Nov. 1). So I wouldn't recommend going out to Ellipse, but hey, 
maybe
you'd be able to convince someone working out to dance with you :) Don't
despair if you are unsuccessful though, it's only one week and then 
we're
back :)

2. We are having a beginner Blues workshop on Saturday, November 23. 
Local
dancers Einar and Gaby will teach the basics of Blues, preparing you for
all those awkward times when you already have a partner on the dance 
floor
at social dancing, but then the song comes on, and is way too slow for
Lindy Hop...Important skills for everyone goes without saying here :)
