Swingin’ Christmas December 10th 2022
Dear dancers, dear students,
Christmas is around the corner. Therefore we would like to bring our community together and to celebrate! We have planned two special classes for you and we invite you all to join our afternoon tea dance with live music, a cake buffet and our students’ shows! All groups will have the opportunity to share a little choreography they have worked on during the Fall 2022 semester.

The event will take place in Altrimenti, note that there are limited free parking places in the vicinity.
If you plan to attend the tea dance, please book your spot in advance!

| Rhythm Games – Solo and Group experience

In this class we want to honour the rhythmicality of swing dancing. We will approach rhythms through games and exercises as solo dancers, in small groups and with the full group. Working on your rhythmicality as an individual dancer will ultimately improve your couple dancing as well 😉 This class is open to all who have at least 1 semester of experience (no matter whether it’s Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, Shag, Blues or Tap). |

Let’s party and jam together! In this class we will explore some of the very special moments that can happen in the course of a swinging night: jam circles, birthday jams, snowball and maybe even a soul train. In this class we will couple dance and you will register either as a follower or as a leader. You should have at least basic knowledge of lindy hop (1 semester) in the role you chose. |
Registration
Free tea dance entrance is included when you take one or more classes during the day.
You can sign up with or without a partner. The Jamming and Celebrating Jazz Music requires prior lindy hop dancing experience. Please read the descriptions. None of the classes is suitable for absolute beginners.

HYGIENIC AND ORGANIZATIONAL MEASURES RELATED TO COVID-19
Currently, no restrictions apply to the organisation of our dance courses at this moment. However, in the event of new measures adopted before or within the course of our Fall 2022 semester, we will have to adapt our rules in order to comply with any new legal rule.
In any event, we still recommend to all students to adopt the following hygienic rules:
- Please wash your hands before and after class. Washing your hands with soap and water is recommended over the use of hand sanitizer.
- We recommend all students to bring their own water bottle to class. Sharing a bottle is not recommended.
- It will be possible to change partner during class, however changing partner is not an obligation and it is up to your individual choice to remain with your fixed partner.
In case you feel ill or are coughing, we kindly ask you to be responsible, do a self test and not join the event.
These hygienic measures are in the interest of our students, teachers and public health.
