Saturday night party: BluesShack (NL)
BluesShack was founded in 2018 specifically for blues dance socials. It all started in a local pub, on the corner of a small street, hidden just outside the city center of Utrecht. In this pub, run by volunteers, a group of people came together every third Thursday of the month, to celebrate the blues in dance and music.
On its stage, the members of BluesShack met each other. Since then the blues dance evenings have led to more gigs, international attention and shows on festivals. And to the recording of three fine blues albums. The repertoire of BluesShack performance consists of their own songs as well as songs by great artists such as Etta James, Alberta Hunter, Muddy Waters, Nina Simone and Lowell Fulson. Be enchanted by the jazzy-soul sound of lead singer Loes Jongerling!

Sunday closing Party: DUKE BOX (LU)
The Duke Box was born within the Swing Dance Luxembourg association, the result of the meeting of Lindy Hop dancers determined to move from the floor to the stage. This ‘small band’ (trumpet, saxophone, piano, rhythm guitar, bass, drums) covers the great classics of Swing, from the Benny Goodman Sextet to Count Basie via Fats Waller. Combining energy and a dose of humor, particularly loving playing with it’s dancing audience, they perform every month at socials and other tea dances in Luxembourg and elsewhere.
The Duke Box is composed of: Stephan Kinsch (trumpet) ; Paul Reiff (saxophone); Geoffrey Sabba (piano); Hubert de Verdelhan (rhythm guitar); Sebastiano Guintini (bass); Simon Acquaviva (drums) – website
